SUMMER IN THE CITIES

As spring turns into full Summer optimism and hope is visible in the faces of the Russians. Swans replace the ice on many Moscow lakes and the trees offer welcome shade from the sun. Street cafes appear along the main thoroughfares and many hidden garden restaurants make brisk trade.

It is hard to miss the influence of Tourism especially in Moscow. Massive advertising boards offer Russian citizens the dreams of restful vacations in far away places, travel companies are busy handling a flood of clients wanting to spend their money in far off destinations. The airports are full of excited, happy people in vacation spirit.

Many countries are again reporting substantial increases in the number of Russian clients visiting and this is the result of a lot of hard work from both the International suppliers and their Russian partners.

The streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg are also now full of their own tourists with many Travel Companies addressing the demand for tourism to Russia. Government and Regional Authorities have enthusiastically acknowledged the potential and benefits to their economies and in-coming tourism to Russia will also expand to a substantial business.
